Our Vision
Faculty and staff, in partnerships with parents, strive to provide an inclusive and responsive Education that guides students towards academic success and self-advocacy.
Our Mission
American Schools in Sweden (AS) will provide a comprehensive and challenging Swedish and international education that fosters informed and engaged local, regional and global citizenship.
How to apply
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. Every school has its own queue. You can place your child in the queue from 1 February the year after they were born.
Join the Queue
After filling out the form you will receive an email confirming the date on which your child was registered in the queue for your school of choice.
We strive to create a disciplined, safe, happy and caring atmosphere that encourages students to be responsible, confident, compassionate, and well-informed citizens who contribute to their local and international community.
Best teachers
All our teachers are highly qualified and have a high level of professional experience that is imperative to maintain the high standards of our education.
STEAM Activities
STEAM education extends beyond the classroom to embrace a wide range of extra-curricular activities. These include sports, nature trips, arts and crafts and exploratory excursions.
Before & After School Activities
These programs are not mandatory but we highly encourage students to participate in them as they are areas of learning not strictly developed in the classroom but that add value to individual competency.
Family Engagement
We want the best for your child, and by working in partnership we can successfully enrich your child’s journey through AS. Close communication is the core of our partnership approach.
Parent-Teacher Association
As a parent (or guardian) of a student enrolled in AS you are automatically a member of the PTA. We look forward to your involvement in our many wonderful projects planned for you and your child throughout the year.
Why a STEAM Education?
